On Sunday evening we loaded Lynne's SUV with kids and headed up to Java, NY for our annual hike through the Enchanted Forest. The kids love the face painting, craft making, pumpkin painting but most of all they love the hike we take through the forest under the cover of darkness with only Jack-O-Lanterns lighting our way.
By the time we are headed home everyone is spent, with sleeping children in the backseat and two very tired mama's trying to stay awake on the dark country roads which lead us home.
